From Via Sassari you go towards the church of St. Anthony of Padua proceeding for a short distance along Via S. Antonio. You will reach a large square with the local church and a school for children, until a few years ago managed by Mercedarian nuns. The church is of mediocre architectural importance. It was the site of an ancient chapel dedicated to St. Anthony of Padua of which the statue dating from the early seventeenth century still remains. The original building dates back to 1646. But the interventions carried out over the years have disfigured the original structure.
